BMW Ghost Immobiliser

Our BMW ghost immobiliser is a unique next-generation device that doesn't require cutting OEM wires or adding an aftermarket alarm and key fobs. It is connected to the BMW CAN data network and is programmed with a unique PIN code that can be accessed by buttons in your car. This allows you to enter key sequences that are not accessible in normal media menus. For example, volume up/down or source, cruise control, air conditioning etc. The PIN could be between 4 and 20 numbers and is therefore difficult for thieves to guess or crack.
We can also add to the system the service/valet mode. This is activated while your car is being serviced so that the Ghost is kept from view by the garage. You can activate this mode by pressing the service button 5 times on your infotainment unit (the system will flash with confirmation) and the Ghost will automatically re-arm when you return.

Anti-Hijack
Ghost developed this discreet device that is obtrusive, and unobtrusive to fight the increasing sophistication of hi-tech thieves. It is designed to stop thieves from adding a key or replacing the ECU to start your car and drive it off. Ghost links up to your CAN data network, and utilizes the buttons within your vehicle (steering wheel and centre console as well as door panels) to create an individual push sequence that needs to be entered before the engine can start.
Once the anti-hijacking mode is activated the attempt to restart the engine will be blocked. The system will sharpen the horn, flash the indicators and stall the vehicle in the event that the code cannot be found. The Anti-Hijack feature can be cancelled by entering your push sequence, or by entering service mode which allows your car to begin and drive, without having to enter your PIN.

We can connect your Ghost device to your mobile application for remote control of keyless go and start functionality. The system will allow you to turn your vehicle on by selecting drive and then exit service mode without needing keys. You can also view your vehicle in real time on a map using your smartphone, perfect for tracking your car when in motion.
The Ghost can be positioned in the dashboard area, or in the center console. It is completely hidden and tamper-proof. It doesn't require any additional wiring. The device is connected to the vehicle's CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a unique PIN code is inserted into it. The pin code must be entered prior to the engine starting. This will prevent thieves from gaining access to the system using the cloned or replaced ECU.
If the vehicle is being taken away, the Ghost will go into service mode and disable all functions unless you have the PIN code or can use the mobile application to disable it. This feature was created to safeguard your vehicle from high-tech criminals who are using relay boxes to steal your car.
